What are the common problems with hammer head of crusher?

For the boss of the rock industry, having an efficient crusher and hammer head will bring greater economic benefits. So, what are the common problems with crusher hammers? How to solve these problems quickly and effectively?


1. Bearing overheating. Reason: insufficient grease, excessive grease, dirty grease, bearing damage.

Elimination method: add the right amount of grease, the bearing inner run fat shall be 50% of the space volume, clean the bearing, replace the grease, and replace the bearing.


2. Excessive particle size. Reason: the hammer head wear too big, the sieve strip break.

Elimination method: replace the hammer head and replace the screen bar.


3. There is a knock on the elastic coupling. Reason: loose shaft, elastic ring wear.

Troubleshoot: stop and tighten the pin nut and replace the elastic ring.


4. Reduced production. Reason: the screen slot is blocked, the feeding is not uniform.

Removal method: stop the car, clean up the blockage in the gap of the sieve, and adjust the feeding mechanism.


5. There is a knock on the inside of the machine. Reason: non-breaking material enters into the machine, the lining fastener loosens, the hammer strikes on the lining, the hammer or other parts break.

6. Sudden vibration. Reason: the rotor static balance is not required due to the change of hammer head or the wear of taper head. The hammer head is broken and the rotor is out of balance. Pin shaft deflection and fracture; A triangle or garden disk crack; Anchor bolt umbrella.


Elimination method: remove the hammer head and choose the hammer head by weight, so that the total weight of the hammer on each hammer axis is equal to the total weight of the hammer on the relative hammer shaft, namely the static balance reaches the requirement; Replace hammer head, replace pin shaft, weld repair or replace, tighten anchor bolts.
